Find Your Board
Find Your Board
Every Timber Traditions board is built from solid hardwood and made to order. The right board depends on how you cook, how often you cook, and what you're putting on it.
Start With Construction
Edge Grain Cutting Boards — The working board for daily kitchen prep. Knife friendly, dimensionally stable, built for years of heavy use. Right for home cooks who prep multiple times a week.
End Grain Cutting Boards — The most demanding construction. Wood fibers run vertically so the knife parts the fibers rather than cutting across them. Self healing surface. Right for serious home cooks who do heavy daily chopping and want a board that gets better with use.
Face Grain Charcuterie Boards — Built for serving not heavy prep. Ideal for cheese, charcuterie, fruit, and shared plates.
Then Choose Your Size
Cutting Boards
- Small 10″ × 14″ × 1″ — Best for smaller kitchens or everyday quick prep.
- Medium 12″ × 18″ × 1″ — The most popular size. Best for most home cooks.
- Large 15″ × 20″ × 1″ — Full surface for serious prep and high volume cooking.
End grain boards are 1.5″ thick across all sizes.
Charcuterie Boards
- Round paddle — 5.7″ × 12″
- Teardrop — 15.75″ × 11.75″
- Long format — 8.5″ × 24″
- Wave Standard — 9.5″ × 12″
- Wave Deluxe — 10.5″ × 18″
- Washington State — 15.75″ × 10.15″
Still Not Sure?
If you cook daily and want one board that handles everything start with the King's Walnut. It's the board most home cooks reach for first.
If you want the highest performance construction and cook seriously every day move up to an end grain board.
If you need both a cutting board for prep and a serving board for the table that's the combination most Timber Traditions kitchens end up with.
