Built By Hand

Built By Hand

Every Timber Traditions board is made to order from solid hardwood. Not mass produced. Not pulled from a shelf. Cut, shaped, sanded, and finished by hand one board at a time.

Solid Hardwood Means No Two Boards Are Identical

Every board is cut from real walnut, maple, or mahogany. Grain patterns, color variation, and natural character marks are properties of the wood itself not inconsistencies in the build. A board with strong grain movement and natural color shifts is not a flawed board. It is solid hardwood doing what solid hardwood does.

No two boards look exactly the same. That is not a disclaimer. That is the point.

Handcrafted Tolerances

Because every board is shaped and finished by hand, dimensions may vary slightly from listed measurements within a ¼-inch tolerance across all boards. This is a normal result of hand finishing, not a defect.

If you need a board to fit a specific dimension, contact us before ordering at info@timbertraditions.com and we'll confirm what we can accommodate.

Lead Times

Every board is made to order. Most orders ship within 7–10 business days.

If you're ordering for a specific date a birthday, a holiday, a gift order early. We build to a standard, not a deadline, and we won't rush a board to meet a date at the cost of the quality you're paying for. If timing is critical, reach out before you order and we'll give you an honest answer on what's achievable.

Our Standard

Every board that leaves our shop is inspected before it ships. If it doesn't meet our build standard, it doesn't ship.

If your board arrives damaged or defective, we'll replace it. If it cracks or warps due to a craftsmanship issue within the first year, we'll repair or replace it no questions asked.
